CSSC Leadership Drives Global Maritime Partnerships at China Maritime 2025, Sealing Key Deals

On December 2, during the China Maritime 2025, Xu Peng, Party Secretary and Chairman of China State Shipbuilding Corporation Limited (CSSC), Wang Guoqiang, Deputy Party Secretary, Director and General Manager, Zhu Yonghong, Party Member and Chief Accountant, and Peng Yuanpu, Hu Xianfu and Zhao Tongbin, Party Members and Vice General Managers, held talks in Shanghai with key leaders of some of CSSC’s important partners. They had in-depth exchanges and reached consensus on strengthening deeper and higher-level pragmatic cooperation and promoting the healthy development of the industry.

Xu Peng held separate discussions with key executives from Hyundai GLOVIS, Shandong Ocean Group, Southwest Shipping, MSC, DNV, ABS, and Dalian University of Technology. He also witnessed the signing of a cooperation agreement between Jiangnan Shipyard (a subsidiary of CSSC) and Southwest Shipping for the construction of two very large ammonia carriers.

Xu Peng stated that CSSC is willing to continuously enhance its comprehensive capabilities, further coordinate the group’s high-quality resources, and provide the industry and partners with better products and services. CSSC aims to leverage the respective strengths of its partners to further solidify the foundation of cooperation, deepen strategic alignment, and enhance collaborative innovation. Wang Guoqiang held separate discussions with the principal executives of SEASPAN, Seacon Shipping Group, and MSC Newbuilding, and witnessed the signing of a letter of intent between CSSC and Seacon Shipping Group for two 210,000 DWT bulk carriers.

Wang Guoqiang stated that CSSC has a profound and long-standing cooperative relationship with shipowners worldwide, boasting a solid foundation and broad prospects for collaboration. CSSC will further strengthen communication and exchanges with global shipowner clients, provide full-stack solutions for partners across the globe, and achieve high-quality development featuring mutual creation and shared benefits. Zhu Yonghong, Peng Yuanpu, Hu Xianfu, and Zhao Tongbin met with relevant leaders from Bank of Communications Financial Leasing, Agricultural Bank of China Financial Leasing, Zhejiang Bank Financial Leasing, Winning International, Bahri New Shipbuilding, Shell Shipping, Everllence, H-Line, GRIMALDI, WARTSILA, and Ausene Group. The parties held in-depth discussions and reached broad consensus on further strengthening communication, deepening mutually beneficial cooperation, and achieving common development.
