On June 10, Adora Cruises officially announced that Olympic diving champion Guo Jingjing will serve as the maiden voyage ambassador for “Adora Flora City”, the second domestically built large cruise ship. The “Diving Queen” and this “national flagship” have come together in a truly magnificent collaboration!

Currently, the “Adora Flora City,” which has just returned triumphantly from its sea trials, is in the final stages of regional and system completion in the dry dock. Overall project progress has exceeded 98%, and the vessel is scheduled to be delivered for operation on November 6.

Adora Flora City measures 341 meters long with a gross tonnage of 141,900. It is equipped with 2,130 luxurious staterooms and suites, capable of hosting up to 5,232 guests. As the sister ship to “Adora Magic City”, China’s first domestically built large cruise ship, “Adora Flora City” features comprehensive upgrades in spatial design, smart technology, and the overall cruise experience. It is dedicated to creating a maritime cultural exploration journey that is “more beautiful, more technologically advanced, and more distinctly Chinese” for guests from both China and abroad. Compared to “Adora Magic City,” China’s first domestically built large cruise ship, the construction of “Adora Flora City” proceeded with greater confidence and composure:
- A major upgrade in space: more guest cabins and larger public areas. Inspired by Guangzhou, the “City of Flowers,” this cruise ship will offer guests a diverse experience that deeply integrates Lingnan culture with the culture of the Maritime Silk Road.
- A Significant Boost in Construction Efficiency: Leveraging the valuable experience gained from the first vessel and the comprehensive use of digital and intelligent tools, the “Adora Flora City”—despite its larger hull—was completed eight months ahead of schedule, with production efficiency increasing by 20%.
