12 Projects Signed & 350m-yuan Credit Secured at Taizhou Ship Export Resource Matching Event

On January 15, the Key Resource Matching and Exchange Event for Ship Export in Taizhou, Zhejiang Province, China was successfully held, with over 200 enterprises from the shipbuilding industry chain and financial institutions participating.

At the event, 12 key cooperative projects were signed collectively, covering three major areas: platform development, shipbuilding and financial empowerment.

Zhejiang OICT International Supply Chain Co., Ltd. Taizhou Commercial Core Area Development and Construction Investment Group Co., Ltd. have reached a cooperation agreement on the construction and operation of a digital trade service center for ships and marine engineering. The center will provide comprehensive services such as industrial chain resource aggregation and diversified business expansion through a “1+2+6” business system. At the same time, strategic cooperation agreements have been signed with Taizhou Shipbuilding Industry Association and other organizations to build a resource-sharing digital trade ecosystem.

Bandung Shipbuilding Heavy Industry signed an agreement with Jiaying Shipping for an 115,000 DWT Aframax tanker project; Zhejiang Yongxin Shipping Co., Ltd. signed a contract with a shipowner for a 7,300 DWT stainless steel chemical tanker project. Taizhou Maple Leaf Shipbuilding signed a deck machinery procurement project for methanol fuel bunkering vessels with Zhejiang Wantong Heavy Industry, valued at over US$120 million, demonstrating the international competitiveness of “Taizhou-made” vessels and components.

Financial institutions including Agricultural Bank of China Taizhou Branch and Postal Savings Bank of China Taizhou Branch signed cross-border comprehensive financial service agreements with relevant enterprises, providing a total of over 350 million yuan in financing credit and special support, and injecting financial vitality into the “going global” drive of shipbuilding enterprises.

Additionally, according to event information, from January to November 2025, Taizhou exported 84 vessels with an export value of 4.17 billion yuan, marking a 100% year-on-year increase.
