YueXin Ocean Engineering Holds Grand Ceremony For Three New Vessels

The naming ceremony for YueXin Ocean Engineering’s new vessels was grandly held at its Science and Technology Park on December 12, 2025.

In his address, Chairman Raymond Tan reviewed the company’s 25-year development journey. He emphasized YueXin’s mission to “carry forward the century-old shipbuilding legacy and become the leading private specialized shipbuilder,” guided by the principle of “Century-old Inheritance, Quality First.” Responding to Guangdong’s initiative to build a strong maritime province, the company has optimized project scheduling and implemented lean management, successfully delivering three vessels on schedule.

This year, YueXin has delivered a total of 20 vessels, demonstrating strong performance. Looking ahead, the company will focus on high-end, intelligent, and green development to enhance its international recognition and competitiveness.

The three new vessels—SUI GANG DIAN HANG 01, New North Lantau, and TAHID ILIAN—were named successively. The ceremony reached its climax with a ribbon-cutting and ship whistle salute, formally marking the completion of the naming process. Afterwards, guests boarded the ships to appreciate their sophisticated design and quality craftsmanship.

This event not only showcased YueXin’s achievements in shipbuilding but also reflected its commitment to integrating into the national maritime power strategy. It embodied the spirit of “Southern Guangdong Craftsmanship”—serving the country through industry and excellence—and demonstrated YueXin’s determination to contribute to the “blue economy” vision and the construction of a strong maritime nation.
