CSSC Power Group Renews Decade-Long Medium-Speed Engine Patent Partnership with Everllence

CSSC Power (Group) Corporation Ltd. (CPGC), a subsidiary of China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC), recently signed a new ten-year patent cooperation agreement for medium-speed engines with Everllence in Shanghai. This marks a new chapter in their 45-year strategic partnership.

CPGC stated that since the signing of its first patent licensing agreement in 1980, CPGC and Everllence have maintained close collaboration to jointly drive leapfrog development in China’s marine propulsion industry. Currently, CPGC has established core capabilities spanning the entire chain of R&D, manufacturing, and services. Its product performance and manufacturing quality have reached internationally leading levels, with the brand’s global influence steadily growing.

This renewal agreement reaffirms both parties’ commitment to advancing green and low-carbon development. Together, they will accelerate joint R&D and industrialization of new fuel engines, striving to create world-leading marine power solutions. CPGC will leverage this partnership as a new starting point to actively contribute to the global shipping industry’s green transformation and intelligent upgrading, injecting robust momentum into CSSC’s goal of building a world-class shipbuilding group.

On the day of the signing ceremony, leaders and guests from multiple parties, including China Shipbuilding Trading Co., Ltd. (CSTC) and CPGC, both subsidiaries of CSSC, and Everllence company, were present to witness this important moment.
