It is understood that this marks the first time CASIC has formally placed an order for new vessels under an operating lease model. This initiative also represents a significant step by the company in implementing the principle of financial services supporting the real economy and deepening its engagement in the shipping financial leasing sector. The three parties will leverage capital as a bond and industry as a foundation to jointly advance the green, low-carbon transformation and high-quality development of the shipping industry.

Moving forward, CASIC will continue to leverage its strengths as a state-owned financial institution, focusing on the green transformation needs of the shipping industry. And it will deepen collaboration among upstream and downstream enterprises in the industrial chain, offering more specialized and customized financial leasing solutions. Together with its partners, the company will jointly explore the global shipping market, injecting sustained momentum into the high-quality development of the real economy.
