CSSC (Tianjin) Shipbuilding Kicks Off Construction of 8th 16,000 TEU LNG Dual-Fuel Container Ship for Minsheng Financial Leasing

On June 16, China State Shipbuilding Corporation Limited (CSSC) (Tianjin) Shipbuilding successfully started construction of the eighth 16,000 TEU LNG dual-fuel container ship for Minsheng Financial Leasing.

The ship has a total length of 366 meters, a beam of 51 meters, and a draft of 30.2 meters, and it can carry 16,196 standard containers.

The ship design adopts a brand-new design concept of “safety, economy, and environmental protection” and is equipped with various energy-saving equipment such as an air lubrication drag reduction system and pre-propeller energy-saving duct to maximize energy efficiency and economy. It is an energy-saving and environmentally friendly green container ship.
