On January 12, Xingtong Shipping Co., Ltd (Xingtong Shipping) released the “Progress Announcement on the Investment in the Construction of Stainless Steel Chemical Tanker by a Holding Subsidiary”.
Announcements disclose that, according to Xingtong Shipping’s development planning, Shanghai Xingtong Wanbang Shipping Co. , Ltd., a subsidiary of Xingtong Shipping, intends to build a 13,000DWT stainless steel chemical tanker for both domestic and foreign trade.
On January 12, 2024, Shanghai Xingtong Wanbang Shipping Co. , Ltd. entered into a Vessel Construction Contract with Zhoushan Ningshing Ship Building & Repairing Co., Ltd with a contract value of RMB167 million, which is expected to be delivered on January 25, 2025.
