Recently, Chinese shipbuilder Nantong Rainbow Offshore & Engineering Equipment Co., Ltd. (ROC), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Jiangsu Rainbow Heavy Industries, has once again earned the strong trust of overseas customer and successfully secured an order for 1+1 4,000 DWT PSVs. This contract not only reflects the customer’s recognition of the company’s product quality, construction capabilities, and delivery services, but also further consolidates ROC’s leading position in the PSV segment.
The 4,000 DWT PSV signed this time is equipped with a DP2 dynamic positioning system and a replaceable containerized power battery system, precisely aligning with the global trend of green shipping. The vessel has a deadweight capacity of 4,000 tonnes, fully capable of meeting the transportation needs of various materials for offshore operations; its spacious 800-square-meter open deck provides ample space for the arrangement of offshore equipment and on-site operations, significantly enhancing operational efficiency.
In the PSV segment, ROC has established a tiered product matrix covering 4,000 DWT, 4,500 DWT, and 5,000 DWT large PSVs, capable of providing differentiated solutions tailored to different sea conditions and operational requirements. Its product portfolio is increasingly complete, and its market responsiveness continues to strengthen. At present, the company has built a standardized and serialized PSV construction system, with full-chain efficient service capabilities spanning design, construction, and delivery.
