Recently, Fujian Guoan Shipbuilding signed a contract with an Indonesian customer to build four container ships and successfully delivered an 86-meter ro-pax vessel to the Philippines, laying a solid foundation for the company’s overseas market expansion in 2026 and demonstrating the strong competitiveness of Fujian’s private shipbuilding enterprises.

On February 13th, Fujian Guoan Shipbuilding delivered and launched an 86-meter ro-pax vessel bound for the Philippines. Since embarking on its international journey in 2018, Fujian Guoan Shipbuilding has built various types of ro-pax vessels for ASEAN countries such as the Philippines, Indonesia, and Brunei, covering a full range of lengths from 20 to 115 meters. Among them, the “Fuhai 9” ro-pax vessel exported to the Philippines successfully obtained Fujian Province’s first China-ASEAN Free Trade Area certificate of origin for a ro-pax vessel, enjoying zero-tariff policies and becoming a benchmark case for Fujian enterprises to benefit from preferential policies.
The 86-meter ro-pax vessel delivered this time continues the company’s advantages in customized R&D and efficient delivery. Its superior quality has been recognized by the Philippine shipowner, further consolidating the company’s presence in the Philippine market.
It is worth mentioning that while successfully delivering the vessels, Fujian Guoan Shipbuilding also successfully signed a contract with an Indonesian customer to build four container ships, opening up a new chapter for ship exports in 2026 and laying a solid foundation for continuing to cultivate the ASEAN market.

Its exported products covered multiple categories, including passenger ro-pax vessels, oil spill recovery vessels (OSRV), engineering vessels, and deployment boats, and it has established a good reputation in the Southeast Asian market.
