January 8 marked the delivery of “YASA ATLANTIC”—the first 50,000 DWT oil tanker built by Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding for YASA Shipowners—which set sail from the shipyard to commence operational service.

The vessel has an overall length of 183.00 meters, a beam of 32.19 meters and a design draft of 11.00 meters. Construction commenced in early December 2024, and sea trials were successfully completed in late October 2025, with all test results meeting design specifications. The vessel reached a state of completion in mid-November 2025.
On January 7, 2026, witnessed by representatives from all parties, Mr. Onur Çağırgan, Project Manager of YASA Shipowners, and Mr. Du Chengzhong, Deputy General Manager of Yangzijiang Shipbuilding Group and General Manager of Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding, jointly signed the delivery documents for the vessel “YASA ATLANTIC”.

It is worth noting that YASA Shipowners ordered a total of four 50,000 DWT oil tankers from Yangzijiang Shipbuilding, and the “YASA ATLANTIC” is the first vessel in this series.
