On December 29, Hudong Heavy Machinery, a subsidiary of CSSC Power (Group) Corporation Ltd. (CPGC), successfully delivered its final low-speed engine of the year—the 6G50ME-C9.6-HPSCR #127—at its Jinqiao facility. This milestone marks a new record high in Hudong Heavy Machinery’s 2025 low-speed engine production volume, representing an 18% year-on-year increase compared to 2024.

In 2025, facing the continuously increasing production tasks of low-speed engines, Hudong Heavy Machinery focused on key tasks, vigorously implemented and carried out various production tasks in accordance with the overall work requirements of CPGC of “strengthening quality, ensuring delivery, promoting safety, and increasing efficiency,” and successfully achieved the annual production target.
In 2025, Hudong Heavy Machinery aligned with the green and low-carbon transformation trend in marine propulsion. While continuing production of conventional models, the company focused on achieving breakthroughs in green and low-carbon propulsion technologies.
This year, the company successfully delivered four clean fuel engines: the world’s first 8S50ME-C9.7-GI-HPSCR (LNG dual-fuel), China’s first 6G60ME-C9.5-GIE-HPSCR (ethane dual-fuel), China’s first 7G50ME-C9.6-LGIM-EGRBP (methanol dual-fuel), and Hudong Heavy Machinery’s first 6G60ME-C10.5-LGIP-HPSCR (LPG dual-fuel), further enriching the company’s green and low-carbon power product line.
