Titan Wind Operational Support Hits Key Construction Milestone on Second FSO

On May 22, the Nantong base of Titan Wind Operational Support Offshore Engineering Division achieved another key milestone, with the keel laying of the second FSO BLKB project successfully completed. Following the launching of the first high-end FSO P378 LDV project in early May, this milestone marks that Titan Wind Offshore Engineering has acquired the capability for mass construction of high-end offshore engineering equipment.

According to reports, construction of the FSO BLKB project began in December 2025. The floating storage and offloading (FSO) unit has a total length of 191 meters, a beam of 39 meters, and a draft of 21 meters. It is designed for a service life of 23 years and is scheduled for formal delivery in the first half of 2027. This series of FSO projects is being jointly constructed by Tianshun Wind Energy and Singapore’s Hanchen Elite Group in strict accordance with international high-end design standards. With a deadweight of 14,000 tons and a storage capacity of 460,000 barrels, the platform is tailored to meet the production and operational requirements of the LDV oilfield.

The project is equipped with an advanced single-point mooring system and a standardized living area accommodating 80 people. It boasts an outstanding performance record of 15 years without dry-docking and has obtained certification from the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS).

The project is implemented under an EPCC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning) turnkey contract model, covering the entire process from engineering design and material procurement to construction and system commissioning. By integrating cutting-edge offshore engineering technologies, it effectively enhances offshore oilfield production efficiency and reduces operation and maintenance costs, providing core equipment support for the green and efficient development of offshore oil and gas resources.

Currently, Titan Wind Operational Support’s Nantong base is simultaneously and steadily advancing multiple offshore engineering projects, high-value-added vessels, and marine renewable energy projects, having established a routine, large-scale, and standardized construction and delivery system.
