CIMC SOE Delivers Two Advanced AHTS Vessels to Singapore’s Vallianz

On September 22, Nantong CIMC Sinopacific Offshore & Engineering Co., Ltd (CIMC SOE) held a naming and delivery ceremony for two 80-ton Anchor Handling Tug Supply (AHTS) vessel built for Singaporean client Vallianz Shipbuilding & Engineering Pte. Ltd. (VSE). The new vessels were named “RAWABI 64” and “RAWABI 70” respectively.

It is understood that this series of AHTS vessels boasts outstanding performance and operational flexibility. Equipped with two bow thrusters, two azimuth thrusters, a secondary dynamic positioning system, and a digital monitoring network system, they enable precise maneuvering in confined waters or complex sea conditions. Capable of conducting Class I external firefighting operations and surface oil spill response, these vessels further enrich CIMC SOE’s product portfolio and international cooperation experience.

The successful delivery of this project not only demonstrates CIMC SOE’s mastery of pacing and resource coordination in shipbuilding, but also pays tribute through tangible achievements to CIMC Group’s 43-year commitment to industrial excellence and relentless pursuit of excellence.
