As a shipyard that has only been in operation for half a year, Liaoning Xinhai Shipbuilding & Repairing has once again secured a new shipbuilding order.
China Classification Society (CCS) announced that Liaoning Xinhai Shipbuilding & Repairing has recently reached a cooperation agreement and successfully signed a contract with trawind shipping Logistics for one 14,000 DWT dry bulk carriers with three option vessels.
At the end of August, Liaoning Xinhai Shipbuilding & Repairing announced it had secured orders for 1+6 4,300 DWT dry bulk carriers, with the entire series of vessels to be classed by CCS. Including this newly announced order, Liaoning Xinhai Shipbuilding & Repairing has secured orders for 11 new vessels in less than a week.
Regarding the newly signed 14,000 DWT dry bulk carrier project, a representative from the shipbuilder stated: “This marks another breakthrough in our order book, reflecting the shipowner’s confidence in our steady growth. Moving forward, we will continue collaborating with the shipowner to advance preparations for the Handymax series vessels and establish a long-term strategic partnership.”
Public information indicates that Liaoning Xinhai Shipbuilding & Repairing was established on February 21, 2025, with registered capital of RMB 50 million. Its legal representative is Li Hongwei. Located in Longgang District, Huludao City, Liaoning Province (adjacent to the shipbuilding industry cluster), its core businesses include ship design, construction, repair, and conversion; marine equipment manufacturing; offshore engineering support; import and export of goods; and technical services.
Since its establishment, Liaoning Xinhai Shipbuilding & Repairing has strengthened production management and technology accumulation, actively explored the new shipbuilding market, received consecutive orders within half a year, and achieved new breakthroughs again, indicating that the company’s shipbuilding business is on the right track.
