On August 6, New Times Shipbuilding has held signing and delivery ceremonies for a 73,500 DWT oil tanker and a 112,500 DWT LNG dual-fuel oil tanker, handed over to Greek owners Dynacom and Capital, respectively. The 73,500 DWT tanker was named Patroklos I.
This 73,500 DWT oil tanker is the third vessel in a series ordered by the Greek shipowner Dynacom from New Times Shipbuilding. The vessel has an overall length of 224 meters, a beam of 32.2 meters, a depth of 20.8 meters, a design draft of 12.2 meters, and a structural draft of 14.5 meters; it features a cargo capacity of 85,000 cubic meters and a deadweight of 73,400 tonnes.
The design integrates advanced hydrodynamic optimization with energy-saving technologies, balancing speed, economic efficiency, and environmental performance. All performance indicators meet advanced international standards, enabling the vessel to flexibly adapt to operational requirements on major global shipping routes and create long-term, sustainable value for the client.
The 112,500 DWT LNG dual-fuel oil tanker delivered on the same day was built for the Greek owner Capital and marks the final vessel in the series. This vessel type has an overall length of approximately 249.9 meters, a beam of about 44 meters, a depth of about 21.5 meters, a design draft of about 13.6 meters, and a structural draft of about 15.2 meters; it features a cargo capacity of approximately 130,500 cubic meters and a deadweight of approximately 112,500 tonnes.
As a new-generation LNG dual-fuel oil tanker, the vessel excels in environmental sustainability and energy efficiency—fully meeting the latest international maritime regulations regarding emissions—and vividly demonstrates the technical prowess of modern shipbuilding in the realm of clean-energy vessels.
