DSIC Hands Over 4,800 DWT Oil Supply Vessel

On September 2, CSSC Dalian Shipbuilding Industrial Development Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “DSID”) a subsidiary of Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (DSIC), delivered the first 4,800 DWT oil supply vessel, “Hai Gongyou 603”, to CNFC Overseas Fisheries Co., Ltd.

“Hai Gongyou 603” features a double-bottom, double-hull steel structure with a aft-engine layout, boasting unlimited navigation capabilities and adaptability to complex global waters.

The vessel boasts numerous advantages, including high-grade equipment configuration, strong cargo adaptability, efficient loading and unloading, and a compact layout, aligning with current trends in green environmental protection. Upon delivery, the vessel will effectively reduce fuel refueling costs and time losses for distant-water fishing vessels, significantly enhancing operational support and market competitiveness in the core fishing grounds of West Africa.

On September 1, DSIC kicked off construction of the 16th 175,000-cubic-meter LNG carrier for COSCO SHIPPING LNG Investment (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.

On September 2, CSSC (Tianjin) Shipbuilding, a another subsidiary of DSIC, started construction of the 115,000 DWT product tanker No. 88 for Singapore’s VITOL.

The vessel has an overall length of 249.8 meters, a beam of 44 meters, a draft of 21.2 meters, and a deadweight tonnage of 114,800 tons.
