Recently, Soho Chuangke Shipbuilding has achieved a major breakthrough with its efficient production rhythm: in just 10 days, it has successively completed five key milestones, namely the delivery, launching, floating, steel cutting and keel-laying, demonstrating its well-organized production planning and project promotion capabilities.
On July 28, Soho Chuangke Shipbuilding successfully delivered the second 50,000 DWT MR tanker “PACIFIC SPIRIT”, built for Zhejiang Fuhua Company. Classed by CCS, the vessel has an overall length of 182.9 meters, a beam of 32.26 meters, a depth of 19.10 meters and a structural draft of 13.30 meters.
On August 5th, Soho Chuangke Shipbuilding successfully held the launching ceremony for the 4th 50,000 DWT MR tanker “CC QINGDAO”. This marks the shipyard’s first successful launching of a 50,000 DWT tanker on the slipway, signifying a significant breakthrough in its slipway construction capabilities.
On August 6th, the second 63,500 DWT bulk carrier “JOSCO SHUNZHOU”, built by Soho Chuangke Shipbuilding for China Development Bank Financial Leasing, successfully floated out. Classed by Bureau Veritas (BV), the vessel has an overall length of 199.9 meters, a beam of 32.26 meters, a depth of 18.90 meters and a structural draft of 13.5 meters.
On August 8th, Soho Chuangke Shipbuilding successfully commenced construction on the third 63,500 DWT bulk carrier, the “SAM007”, for Jiangsu Ocean Shipping. The keel laying ceremony for the second vessel in the series, was successfully held at 10:18 a.m. on the same day.
