Oslo-listed offshore giant Subsea 7 has won three offshore contracts in three weeks.
On July 23, Subsea 7 announced on its official website that it had signed an offshore engineering contract with an undisclosed customer. Project details have not yet been disclosed.
Under the contract, Subsea 7’s scope of work includes the engineering design and offshore installation of flexible pipelines, umbilicals, subsea equipment and mooring systems. Offshore operations are expected to begin in 2027.
The company did not disclose specific financial details but described it as a “significant project” with a contract value of between US$150 million and US$300 million, as is customary for the company.
It is worth noting that this is the third offshore engineering contract that Subsea 7 has won recently.
In mid-July, Subsea 7 announced that it had signed a major contract with Equinor to provide services for the Fram Sør development project off the coast of Norway. The contract is worth between US$300 million and US$500 million.
The contract with Equinor covers the engineering, procurement, construction, and installation (EPCI) of subsea structures and pipelines, including up to 53 kilometers of production, gas lift, and water injection pipelines, as well as the installation of a umbilical system. Offshore installation is expected to take place in 2026, 2027, and 2028.
In early July, Subsea 7 announced that it had won a large-scale engineering project in the Egyptian offshore area, responsible for providing EPCI services, and further details have not yet been disclosed. The contract value is between US$50 million and US$150 million, mainly including the installation of flexible pipelines, umbilical cables and related offshore infrastructure to support the connection with existing offshore facilities.
