New Times Shipbuilding Delivers First LNG-Powered Suezmax Tanker in 500-Ship Milestone

On July 21, New Times Shipbuilding officially delivered the 11# 155,500 DWT LNG dual-fuel tanker “PATHWAY” to Singaporean shipowner EPS. It is worth mentioning that “PATHWAY” is the 500th 10,000-ton class vessel delivered by New Times Shipbuilding.

It is understood that “PATHWAY” is the first vessel in the EPS 155,500 DWT series of oil tankers, and is also the first LNG dual-fuel Suezmax oil tanker developed and built by the shipbuilder. The completion and delivery of the vessel further expands the company’s green ship product spectrum and consolidates the company’s dominant position in the field of green shipbuilding.

The “PATHWAY” has a total length of 274.3 meters, a length between perpendiculars of 269.9 meters, a beam of 48 meters, a depth of 23.2 meters, a design draft of 16 meters, a structural draft of 17.15 meters, and a cargo hold capacity (including slop tanks and residual tanks) of 172,000 cubic meters.

In addition, “PATHWAY” is the 25th vessel delivered by New Times Shipbuilding to the shipowner EPS. The successful delivery of this ship witnessed the continuous breakthrough of New Times Shipbuilding from building traditional vessels to green and high value-added vessels, and demonstrated its high-quality customer service, first-class product quality, and pursuit of excellence and continuous breakthroughs.
