CSSC (Tianjin) Shipbuilding Starts Construction of First 307,000 DWT VLCC for Dynacom, 44 Days Ahead of Schedule

On July 22, CSSC (Tianjin) Shipbuilding under Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (DSIC) smoothly kicked off the construction of the first 307,000 DWT crude oil tanker for the Greek company Dynacom, 44 days ahead of schedule.

As the first VLCC built by CSSC (Tianjin) Shipbuilding, the vessel measures 332.95 meters in length, 60 meters in beam and 30 meters in draft with a designed draft of 20.5 meters.

Its cargo hold area consists of 15 cargo oil tanks and 2 SLOP tanks. The 3 cargo oil tanks are grouped and equipped with an open desulfurization system. The main engine is equipped with an EGRTC energy-saving system to meet Tier III hydroxide emission requirements.
