On July 14, Jianglong Shipbuilding released an announcement regarding the signing of a major sales contract.
The announcement disclosed that Jianglong Shipbuilding signed a “MARINE DEPARTMENT SHIPBUILDING CONTRACT NO.3/2025” with the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China on July 14, 2025. The total contract amount is HK$125 million, equivalent to US$16 million.
The contract involves the construction of five aluminum alloy harbor patrol vessels. The first two vessels are expected to be delivered within 22 months after the contract is signed, and the remaining three vessels are expected to be delivered within 28 months.
Jianglong Shipbuilding stated that the signing of this contract demonstrates the company’s comprehensive capabilities in the design and manufacture of government enforcement vessels. The company has collaborated with the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government for many times, with orders spanning various vessel types including government enforcement vessels and special-purpose workboats, reflecting the recognition of its construction technology and product quality by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government.
The signing of this contract not only enhances Jianglong Shipbuilding’s market competitiveness in the Greater Bay Area of Macao, Hong Kong and Macao, further consolidates the company’s industry influence and market position, but also has profound significance for the company to open up the international market. This contract belongs to the company’s daily operating contract and is expected to have a positive impact on the company’s operating performance in the next 1-2 years.
