On June 11, Fujian Shipping Company named and took delivery of the 64,000 DWT bulk carrier (XY141) “Jin Haiwo”, built by Nantong Xiangyu Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering Co., Ltd. (Nantong Xiangyu SOE).
It is reported that three months ago, Fujian Shipping Company received the first 64,000 DWT bulk carrier of this series, “Jin Hairun”. This series of vessels is built by the collaboration of many parties, which demonstrates the advantages and strength of the whole industry chain synergy.
Through technological upgrades, “Jin Haiwo” has significantly reduced fuel consumption and improved operational efficiency, adapted to global dry bulk cargo routes, and helped achieve the “dual carbon” goals.
The 64000 DWT bulk carrier is the star brand ship type of Nantong Xiangyu SOE, characterized by new type, high efficiency, energy saving, environmental protection, stable return, strong competitiveness and excellent cost performance.
The ship’s technical parameters and design standards show a high degree of seaworthiness and safety. Through the optimization and upgrading of the ship type and power system, the ship’s energy consumption has been effectively reduced, which is in line with the development trend of energy saving and emission reduction in the global shipping industry.
