On April 21st, Lankun 02, a multi-purpose service operation vessel (MPSOV) for offshore photovoltaic piling, which was invested by Shandong Lankun Ocean Engineering Co., Ltd.S under Shandong Ocean Group, was successfully launched.
As the first innovative MPSOV for offshore PV piling Lankun 02 is equipped with DP power positioning system. The MPSOV is designed with an overall length of 65 meters, a width of 28 meters and a depth of 3.4 meters.
It fully utilizes advanced technologies in the field of offshore equipment, such as power positioning system, skidding system, positioning pile system, etc. Therefore, it can move flexibly, locate accurately and work efficiently under Class IV sea conditions to fulfill the integrated operation of lifting, transporting, supplying and piling of offshore PV piles. And it can complete the installation of 30 piles in a single day.
