Taizhou Sanfu Heavy Industry Launches 3rd 11,000DWT Multi-Purpose Vessel Built for German Shipowner

On December 31st, SF130213, the third vessel in a series of 11,000DWT multi-purpose vessels built by Taizhou Sanfu Heavy Industry Group Co., Ltd for a German shipowner, was successfully launched.

The ship measures 149.95 meters in overall length, 143.05 meters in plumb length, 23.20 meters in breadth, 10.5 meters in depth, 8.50 meters in design draft, 15.5 knots in speed, and is classed by BV.

According to the official website, aizhou Sanfu Heavy Industry (Taizhou Sanfu Ship Engineering) is a national first-class Class I steel general ship production enterprise, with two high-tech ship construction bases in Yong’an factory area and port factory area. Both are located on the banks of the Yangtze River’s golden waterway, and are equipped with 10000 ton ship outfitting shoreline terminals.

There are 7 total assembly ships and hundreds of supporting lifting equipment, with a maximum lifting capacity of 900 tons. The company has passed the certification of ISO9001 quality management system, ISO14001 environmental management system, GB/T45001 occupational health and safety management system, ISO50001 energy management system and GB/T23001 integrated management system of China Classification Society.

The company can undertake the construction of various types of container ships, multi-purpose ships, oil tankers/chemical tankers, bulk carriers, tugboats, ocean engineering ships, and various types of barges up to 100000 DWT.
