Recently, the NG14000 wind power installation platform “SEAWAY VENTUS” constructed by CMHI Haimen shipyard was successfully delivered and left the factory, setting sail to the operation area.
The platform is classified by DNV, with an overall length of 142 meters, a beam of 50 meters, a depth of 11 meters, a deck area of about 4,600 square meters, a variable load of 8,750 tons, and an operating water depth of up to 65 meters.
This platform will be used for the installation, operation and maintenance of wind farms in the North Sea. The platform is equipped with Siemens Energy DC power system and ESS battery system, which meets the DP2 closed-loop requirements and can reach a speed of 11 knots.
