Specifically, this order includes six 64,500 DWT Ultramaxe bulk carriers and five 40,500 DWT Handysize bulk carriers, all of which are scheduled for delivery by the end of 2030. Information regarding the shipowners and construction costs has not yet been disclosed.

Based on recent orders secured by Jiangmen Nanyang Ship Engineering, the contract price for a Handysize vessel is approximately $30 million, while that for an Ultramaxe vessel is approximately $34 million.

Excluding these latest orders, Jiangmen Nanyang Ship Engineering has publicly announced at least 24 newbuilds so far this year, including 17 Handysize bulk carriers and 7 Ultramaxe bulk carriers.

To date, Jiangmen Nanyang Ship Engineering has a handbook order of 146 vessels, all of which are Ultramaxe and Handysize bulk carriers. The shipyard has established a leading position in the Handysize bulk carrier segment.

Founded in early 2005, Jiangmen Nanyang Ship Engineering is located on the shores of Yinzhou Lake in Xinhui District, Jiangmen City, Guangdong Province.
