On April 8, Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding successfully delivered the 114,000-ton Aframax product tanker “YASA PANTHER” to Turkey’s YASA Company. The vessel had previously been christened on April 2.
The “YASA PANTHER” is the second series vessel built by Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding for YASA. Classed by LR, it achieved a “zero-defect” launch and the shortest sea trial period for its class during construction. The vessel fully complies with Tier III environmental regulations, and its energy efficiency and environmental performance meet world-class standards.
