BOREALIS Denizcilik Adds Another 7,300 DWT Chemical Tanker to Zhejiang Yongxin Shipping Deal

On January 24, Zhejiang Yongxin Shipping successfully signed a contract with Turkey’s BOREALIS DENIZCILIK A.S. for the construction of an additional 7,300 DWT stainless steel chemical tanker. This order was facilitated by Milestone International Shipbuilding Development (Taizhou) Co.,Ltd.

The 7,300 DWT stainless steel chemical tanker signed this time is a “green benchmark” vessel type that was carefully customized by Milestone International Shipbuilding Development (Taizhou) together with the design company.

It is reported that by the end of 2025, Zhejiang Yongxin Shipping signed a contract with the above-mentioned Turkish shipowner for the construction of 3+1 stainless steel chemical tankers with a deadweight tonnage of 7,300 tons.

According to official website information, Zhejiang Yongxin Shipping was established in 2022 and is located at Puba Port in the Coastal Industrial City of Sanmen County, Zhejiang Province, with a shoreline length of 940 meters. The company’s factory site has a planned total investment of RMB 650 million, with plans to construct one 100,000-ton shipbuilding slipway, three 50,000-ton slipways, and one outfitting pier, achieving an annual production capacity of 300,000 tons. In recent years, it has delivered over ten vessels including oil tankers, chemical tankers, bulk carriers, and offshore engineering vessels.
