CIMC Raffles Delivers 7,000 CEU LNG-Powered PCTC to NOCC

On January 20, the 7000 CEU pure car and truck carrier (PCTC) NOCC ADRIATIC, built by CIMC Raffles Offshore Engineering Pte Ltd for Norwegian Car Carriers (NOCC), was successfully delivered and set sail from the Longkou Construction Base.

The NOCC ADRIATIC project marks the second 7,000-CEU PCTC that NOCC has contracted CIMC Raffles to build. With an overall length of 199.90 meters, a beam of 38 meters, a design draft of 8.6 meters and a design speed of 19 knots, the vessel has a car-carrying capacity of 7,000 units and a service speed of 19 knots. Equipped with two Type C LNG tanks as well as dual-fuel main and auxiliary engines, it meets zero-emission standards for port operations.

Since the project kicked off, CIMC Raffles has been committed to delivering the vessel with high quality and efficiency. By strengthening cross-departmental collaboration between the design and production teams, optimizing construction processes and facilitating efficient supply chain coordination, the company carried out scientific resource allocation and precise control over key project milestones, ultimately completing the project 70 days ahead of the original contractual delivery schedule.

A representative of the shipowner commented, “The early delivery of the NOCC ADRIATIC has exceeded our expectations. The vessel’s construction quality fully complies with and even surpasses our technical specifications. We are fully confident in its upcoming operational deployment. This cooperation has further consolidated our mutually trusted, win-win strategic partnership.”
