On August 26th, China Merchants Jinling Shipyard (Yangzhou) Dingheng successfully delivered the 16,300 DWT LNG dual-fuel chemical tanker (Vessel No. 17), which was officially put into operation.
This vessel meets the highest class requirements for single-person wheelhouse set by the Bureau Veritas (BV) Classification Society, complies with the Phase III requirements of the Energy Efficiency Design Index (EEDI) and the IMO Tier III standards. Featuring green and intelligent attributes, it can effectively reduce carbon emissions.
Furetank and China Merchants Jinling Shipyard (Yangzhou) Dingheng have collaborated for nearly a decade since their initial collaboration in 2015. From technological exploration to mature mass production, the two parties have worked together to transform their shipbuilding blueprints into reality. From the stability of their construction processes to the precision of their delivery schedules, the shipbuilder has consistently delivered on its delivery commitments, establishing a reputation as a trusted provider in the competitive small and medium-sized chemical tanker market.
To date, 17 vessels of this series have been delivered, and the series is entering a continuous delivery phase.
