From July 2 to July 11, 2025, Shanghai ChanceWay Construction Engineering successfully completed the installation of two sets of 1300T giant gantry cranes for Zhoushan Changhong International Shipyard (Changhong International). The project was launched on March 1, 2025.
At present, two sets of 1300T giant gantry cranes have been erected in Changhong International yard in Daishan County, Zhoushan City, Zhejiang Province.
It is reported that the Changhong International 1300T giant gantry crane project is general contracted by Nantong Rainbow Heavy Machineries (RHM). The crane adopts a double main girder structure design, consisting of core modules such as the gantry system, upper and lower trolley running mechanisms and electrical control units.
As the largest and most powerful gantry cranes (with a single lifting capacity of 1,300 tons) currently in Zhejiang Province, the two units are identical in model and specifications. Their completion marks a new milestone in the installation of heavy equipment in the region.
