On July 31, CSSC (Tianjin) Shipbuilding, a subsidiary of Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (DSIC), successfully broke ground on the construction of the T300K-115, a 307,000 DWT LNG dual-fuel crude oil carrier being built for Greece’s Capital Company. This vessel is the fourth in the series.

It is reported that this vessel is a new-generation, cost-effective, large ocean-going oil tanker designed from scratch by DSIC. The vessel has an overall length of 332.95 meters, a beam of 60 meters, a depth of 30 meters, a design draft of 20.5 meters, and a design speed of 14.5 knots, meeting the latest regulatory requirements.
The propulsion system features a MAN B&W dual-fuel main engine, equipped with dual-fuel generators and dual-fuel boilers; nitrogen oxide emissions comply with NOx Tier III standards, further enhancing energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
