Jiangnan Shipyard Delivers Third LNG Dual-Fuel PCTC “Anji Qixin” with Record Domestic Tech

On June 25, Jiangnan Shipyard of China State Shipbuilding Corporation officially named and delivered the third 7,800 CEU LNG dual-fuel PCTC (pure car and track carrier) built for Anji Logistics. The PCTC was named “Anji Qixin”.

The PCTC is designed with a total length of 199.9 meters, a beam of 38 meters, a depth of 15.5 meters, a structural draft of 10.2 meters, a service speed of 19 knots, and is classified by Det Norske Veritas (DNV) and China Classification Society (CCS). This series of vessels is designed by Shanghai Ship Research and Design Institute (SDARI) and built by Jiangnan Shipyard, with complete independent intellectual property rights.

The core key equipment of the vessel: the main engine WinGD 7X62DF2.1 and iCER system, LNG containment and gas supply system and ro-ro equipment system are all produced by companies under the China State Shipbuilding Corporation, and the core equipment of the project has a very high domestic independence rate. This PCTC is a milestone in the history of the construction of large automobile carriers in China.

It is reported that the 7,800 CEU LNG dual-fuel PCTC delivered this time, as the finale of a series of three sister vessels, integrates innovative achievements such as deck space optimization, core equipment autonomy, and intelligent management system. It not only demonstrates the hard power of China’s shipbuilding industry, but also provides a solid and reliable logistics supply chain guarantee for China’s manufacturing going overseas.
