Recently, CSSC Huangpu Wenchong Shipbuilding formally delivered “Guohai Anyuan” offshore support platform (OSV) to Cnooc EnergyTechnology&Services Limited (CNOOC). The platform will go to the predetermined waters to provide offshore life support services.
“Guohai Anyuan” is a triple-pile leg jack-up OSV built by CSSC Huangpu Wenchong Shipbuilding. Since March 2023, SINO OCEANC has been working closely with CSSC Huangpu Wenchong and CNOOC to promote the platform’s adaptive modification and bare lease project.
Under the in-depth communication and unremitting efforts of the three parties, the platform has successfully completed a series of adaptive modification projects, such as accommodation capacity upgrading, hangar and apron demolition, optimization of the lift system and the relocation of the pedestrian trestle, and successfully obtained classification certificates from LR and CCS.
After adaptive modification, the “Guohai Anyuan” OSV is more adaptable to the actual needs of domestic offshore oil and gas operations. It has a usable deck area of 500 square meters, a container storage area of 200 square meters, and can accommodate 300 people, with an operating water depth of 45 meters.
The successful delivery of the “Guohai An Yuan” OSV is the latest achievement of the central enterprise’s inventory of offshore equipment assets, which provides strong support for CNOOC’s increase in storage and production. At the same time, it also marks the achievement of full inventory of offshore equipment assets of Huangpu Wenchong Shipbuilding.
