Subsea7 Secures Major Egyptian Offshore EPCI Contract Worth Up to $150M

Offshore giant Subsea7 announced that it has successfully won a bid for a large offshore project in Egypt, responsible for providing engineering, procurement, commissioning, and installation (EPCI) services. Further details have not yet been disclosed.

The project, valued at between US$50 million and US$150 million, primarily involves the installation of flexible pipelines, umbilicals and associated offshore infrastructure to support connections to existing offshore facilities.

Subsea7 said engineering and project management activities will start immediately at its operations centers in France, Portugal, and Egypt, with offshore construction planned for 2026.

This is the second offshore engineering contract announced by Subsea7 recently. At the end of June, Subsea7 signed an EPCI contract with an undisclosed client for services off the coast of Norway, with a contract value also between US$50 million and US$150 million.

In the Norwegian offshore project, Subsea 7 will deploy its vessels to undertake EPCI for pipeline bundles, spools, protection covers and connection works. Offshore operations are expected to take place between 2025 and 2027.
