On May 7th, “Adora Mediterranea” docked into Dock No.2 of COSCO SHIPPING Heavy Industry (Zhoushan), marking the start of repair.

With an overall length of 293 meters, a beam of 32 meters, and a maximum passenger capacity of 2,680, the vessel is operated by Adora Cruises – China’s indigenous cruise brand – and stands as one of its premier luxury cruise ships.
Key repair work contains main propulsion system, hull coating refurbishment, and structural renewal.

To ensure efficient project execution, COSCO SHIPPING Heavy Industry(Zhoushan)proactively coordinated internal and external resources, engaged with authorities,every step was seamlessly integrated – a clear demonstration of the company’s mature project management capabilities and full‑service experience in cruise ship repair.
The selection of COSCO SHIPPING Heavy Industry (Zhoushan) for the ADORA MEDITERRANEA’S repair fully reflects the shipowner’s trust in the shipyard’s professional capabilities and further confirms the shipyard’s stable position in the high-end cruise repair market.
This is the 12th cruise repair project undertaken by COSCO SHIPPING Heavy Industry (Zhoushan). Previously, the yard has successfully serviced renowned cruise ships such as “Ovation of the Seas””SkySea Golden Era” and “Piano Land”.
