Wealth Holding Shipping Partners with Partners to Book 62,000 DWT Multi-Purpose Vessels at Nantong Yahua Shipbuilding

Recently, Wealth Holding Shipping—a subsidiary of Wealth Holdings Group—entered into a partnership with Hong Kong Pusheng Shipping Co., Ltd. and Nantong Yahua Shipbuilding Group Co., Ltd. The parties signed a contract for the construction of two 62,000 DWT multi-purpose vessels, with options for two additional vessels of the same type. Delivery of the new vessels is expected to begin in the first quarter of 2028.

This is not Wealth Holdings Group’s first order for multi-purpose vessels. As early as the beginning of 2026, the shipowner officially entered this market by ordering up to eight 17,400 DWT multi-purpose vessels from Jiangsu Haitong Offshore Engineering Equipment Co., Ltd. (JSHT).

It is reported that Wealth Holdings Group, which began as a shipping operator in 2006, has since evolved into a comprehensive group with a full industrial chain. The group comprises three major subsidiaries—maritime transport, financial investment, and trade—and its business spans financial investment, freight logistics, and ship investment and operations.

Wealth Holding Shipping is a shipping company under the Wealth Holdings Group that specializes in international shipping services. According to data from early 2026, Wealth Holding Shipping owns a fleet of 30 vessels, with a total carrying capacity exceeding 1.8 million deadweight tons.

In addition to the order for up to four multi-purpose vessels placed by Wealth Holding Shipping, Nantong Yahua Shipbuilding has signed a contract with Shengsi Pucheng Shipping for 4,350 TEU container ships. Currently, the world’s first CPGC-WinGD 6X62-1.1-HPSCR main engines installed on this class of container ships have been successfully delivered at Hudong Heavy Machinery’s Zhenjiang facility.

Nantong Yahua Shipbuilding is a privately owned shipyard located in Nantong, Jiangsu Province. Established in 2003, the shipyard covers an area of over 400,000 square meters and has 1,100 meters of quay length. The shipyard has four slipways and three berths, equipped with hundreds of sets of shipbuilding equipment, including large gantry cranes and CNC plasma cutters. It primarily builds multi-purpose vessels, container ships, bulk carriers, offshore engineering vessels, and tugs.
