Jiangmen Hangtong Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. of CCCC Fourth Harbor Engineering held the steel cutting ceremony for the 8th 7700DWT oil tanker on March 20.

The vessel has a length of 103.88 meters, a beam of 19 meters, a draft of 10 meters, a design draft of 7.2 meters, and a design speed of 10 knots. It is classed by Lloyd’s Register and meets the requirements for unlimited navigation. The vessel operates with a diesel generator providing power to the entire vessel and is primarily used for transporting fuel oil, biofuels, and methanol; its emissions meet Tier III standards.
Going forward, Jiangmen Hangtong Shipbuilding will take improving efficiency as its core strategic focus, concentrate on two key levers: process optimization and efficiency transformation, accurately target key nodes in the entire shipbuilding process, concentrate resources to tackle the creation of high-value-added, high-quality vessels, strengthen the foundation for development by upgrading product competitiveness, and fully empower the company’s high-quality and sustainable development.
