On November 15, the 2700TEU series container ship H2477, named “CAPE SKAGEN”, which was constructed by CSSC Huangpu Wenchong Shipbuilding for Schoeller Holdings, was delivered successfully, which was 15 days earlier than the contract date.
“CAPE SKAGEN” is a matured mainbuilding type of Huangpu Wenchong. The ship has an overall length of 188.8m, a breadth of 32.2m, a depth of 17.1m, a design draught of 9.5m, is classed by DNV, meets the requirements of T-III emission, and has the advantages of large deadweight, low fuel consumption and good economic performance, which is widely welcomed and praised by the market.
Presently, the 2700TEU series container ships and 1900TEU series container ships constructed by Huangpu Wenchong in batch are highly appreciated by shipowners.
