On November 18, China State Shipbuilding Corporation’s Huangpu Wenchong Shipbuilding formally signed and delivered the 11th 3,000 TEU container vessel, the “EVER VIBE, to Evergreen Marine. The vessel was delivered six months ahead of schedule, marking the successful and efficient completion of this series of vessels.
The “EVER VIBE” is a high-quality, high-performance container vessel independently developed, designed, and built by Huangpu Wenchong Shipbuilding. It possesses complete independent intellectual property rights and is classed by NK Classification Society. The vessel is 209.8 meters long, 34.8 meters wide, and 17.3 meters deep, with a deadweight tonnage of 43,600 tons and a design speed of 20 knots. Through multiple rounds of design optimization, its fuel consumption per container has reached internationally advanced levels.
This series of vessels fully embodies green and eco-friendly principles, with 10 vessels equipped with desulfurization equipment and one fitted with SCR technology, alongside a comprehensive low-sulfur fuel supply system. The vessels also feature AMP shore power winch systems and incorporate a range of energy-saving and environmentally friendly technologies, including the latest drag-reducing antifouling paint. These advancements significantly reduce energy consumption and emissions, meeting the global shipping industry’s requirements for green and low-carbon development.
Since the delivery of the first 3,000 TEU vessel, “EVER VIM”, in late March 2024, Huangpu Wenchong has delivered an average of one vessel of the same type every two months, fully implementing the construction philosophy of “balance, pace, and efficiency.” This efficient construction pace highlights the characteristics and advantages of lean shipbuilding management, contributing a branded vessel manufactured by Huangpu Wenchong to the global feeder container vessel market.
The delivery of vessels in this series has consistently been significantly ahead of schedule. The first vessel, the “EVER VIM,” was delivered 100 days early, while subsequent vessels were delivered 4 to 5 months ahead of schedule. This demonstrates Huangpu Wenchong’s exceptional project execution capabilities and construction efficiency.

The successful delivery of the “EVER VIBE” vessel further solidifies Huangpu Wenchong’s leading position in the global feeder container vessel construction field and provides strong support for Evergreen to enhance its global influence.
