On October 30, Jiangsu Haitong Offshore Engineering Equipment Co.,Ltd.(JSHT) successfully kicked off the construction of an 82,000 DWT bulk carrier (Hull No.: JSHT322) for Fujian Shipping Company.
The vessel measures 229 meters in overall length, 32.26 meters in beam, and 20.35 meters in draft, with a design speed of 14 knots. Designed by Shanghai Design and Research Institute of Shipbuilding (SDARI) and constructed to meet the classification standards of China Classification Society (CCS), it incorporates fourth-generation green energy-saving and environmentally friendly design.
The vessel features seven cargo holds with a theoretical deadweight capacity of approximately 82,000 tons. It offers optimized deadweight tonnage, high cargo hold utilization, and strong route adaptability. Equipped with an SCR system, the vessel meets the latest emission requirements.
