On October 21, China Merchants Ro-Ro and Grimaldi Group signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement in Shanghai. The agreement aims to leverage the two companies’ expertise in multimodal transport, ro-ro transport, and automotive logistics to jointly create greater value for customers.

Sun Jianfeng, Deputy General Manager of China Merchants Energy Shipping (CMES) and Chairman of China Merchants Ro-Ro, Liu Rushong, General Manager of China Merchants Ro-Ro, Liu Jing, Deputy General Manager, Luigi Pacella Grimaldi, Director of Intercontinental Routes of Grimaldi Group, and Zhou Fei, General Manager of Grimaldi China, attended the signing ceremony.
The agreement stipulates that as specialized enterprises with years of deep expertise in their respective industries, China Merchants RoRo and Grimaldi Group will leverage their highly complementary resources to pursue in-depth cooperation in areas such as coordinated fleet operations and integrated logistics networks.
Both parties stated that this collaboration will leverage the extensive experience and distribution networks of China Merchants RoRo and Grimaldi Group in the China-Europe market to provide more competitive logistics solutions for the growing Chinese automotive export business. Moving forward, they will continue to drive business innovation and sustainable development in the global logistics and shipping sectors, supporting long-term mutual success for clients and the industry.
