Turkish bulk carrier owner GSD Marin has returned to Japan to order Ultramax bulk carriers.

According to foreign media reports, GSD Marin has signed a contract with Nihon Shipyard to build two 64,000-dwt bulk carriers, with delivery expected in 2029. Nihon Shipyard is a joint venture between Imabari Shipbuilding and Japan Marine United (JMU) .
