On July 14th, the ship maintenance project of Jiangmen Anhang Shipbuilding & Repair passed the record-filing review.
According to the filing information, the total investment of the project is 200 million yuan (about US$2.784 million), covering an area of 10,000 square meters and a construction area of 3,800 square meters. The project plans to repair 90 ships annually, including 30 bulk carriers and 60 small boats, with an annual maintenance deadweight tonnage of 100,000 (including 70,000 deadweight tons for bulk carriers and 30,000 deadweight tons for small boats).
The maintenance business will fully cover the hull, engine, electrical appliances and other projects, and is committed to providing all-round, one-stop maintenance services for all types of ships. In terms of construction content, the project mainly includes the construction of slipways, office buildings, workshops, and warehouses. It is worth noting that the project does not build a dock.
The project is scheduled to start on November 1, 2025 and be completed on October 1, 2027. After completion, the project will greatly enhance the company’s ship maintenance capacity and service quality, and provide strong support for the stable development of the local shipping industry.
