Jiangxi Jiangxin Shipbuilding Successfully Contracts New 300-Ton Fisheries Law Enforcement Vessel

On January 4, a design and construction contract for the 300-ton fisheries law enforcement vessel project in Dongtai City, which was awarded to Jiangxin Shipbuilding under Jiangxi Military Industry, was successfully signed.

This new type of fisheries law enforcement vessel has an overall length of 53 meters, a beam of 8 meters and a depth of 4.2 meters. It adopts deep V-line shape, flying shear bow, square stern and single through-length deck. The main hull is steel and the superstructure is aluminum alloy with steel and aluminum hybrid all-welded structure, double shafts, double propellers, double rudders and linear propulsion.

It is equipped with 2 marine high-speed diesel engines and high-efficiency propellers for propulsion, with a maximum speed of not less than 18 knots, a range of about 1,000 nautical miles, a self-sustainability of not less than 10 days and nights, and an offshore navigation area.

After delivery, the ship will exercise the right of fishery administration and law enforcement on behalf of the government, and undertake the tasks of sea cruise management, fishery administration and fishing port supervision and inspection under the jurisdiction of Jiangsu sea area and 200 nautical miles of China.
