On September 17, Anhui Port & Shipping Sealand Equipment Company held a signing ceremony with Italy’s AUGUSTA DUE S.R.L. for three 40,800 DWT oil and chemical tankers.

These vessels meet international environmental protection requirements and are authorized to sail freely in all navigation zones, including emission control areas such as those in the European Union and the United States. The cargo holds adopt internationally leading special coating materials and processes, offering compatibility far surpassing that of comparable products. They are capable of carrying liquid chemicals, crude oil, refined oil products, and petroleum products specified in MARPOL Annex I, resulting in significantly improved operational efficiency.
The vessel is equipped with 6 pairs of cargo oil tanks, 1 pair of slop tanks, 1 residual tank, and 7 pairs of ballast water tanks, with a cargo tank volume of 48,500 m³ and seven independent oil transfer piping systems. The main and auxiliary engines can operate on LSHFO, MGO, biofuels, and blended fuels. The vessel is equipped with an SCR system to meet Tier III emission standards, and a PSD energy-saving duct is installed at the stern to achieve energy savings and carbon reduction.
