Recently, New Times Shipbuilding held a signing and delivery ceremony for a 155,500 DWT dual-fuel oil tanker built for MARAN TANKERS MANAGEMENT INC. This vessel is the fourth in the series of 155,500 DWT dual-fuel oil tankers.
This series of vessels has an overall length of 274.3 meters, a beam of 48 meters, a depth of 23.2 meters, a design draft of 16 meters, and a structural draft of 17.15 meters. Their cargo hold capacity (including slop tanks and residual tanks) reaches 172,000 cubic meters, with a deadweight tonnage of 155,500 tons.
As dual-fuel oil tankers, this series delivers outstanding performance in environmental protection and energy efficiency, fully meeting the stringent requirements of the international shipping industry for low-carbon emissions and green operations.
