On March 19, BOMESC Offshore Engineering Company Limited (hereinafter referred to as “BOMESC”) issued the “Announcement Regarding the Signing of a Long-Term Cooperation Agreement by a Wholly-Owned Subsidiary”.
According to a recent announcement, BOMESC’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Tianjin BOMCO Marine Engineering Co., Ltd. (referred to as “Tianjin BOMCO”), has signed a long-term cooperation agreement with Single Buoy Moorings Inc. Adhering to the principles of equality, mutual benefit, complementary strengths, and long-term stability, the two parties have reached a preliminary agreement regarding cooperation in areas such as the fabrication, integration, and related construction services for topside modules of Floating Production, Storage, and Offloading (FPSO) units.
The two parties intend to explore and advance collaborative cooperation centering on the planning, development, and bidding phases of FPSO projects, as well as related ancillary fields, with the aim of jointly identifying global market opportunities and enhancing project competitiveness. Furthermore, the parties will jointly assess the feasibility of expanding into potential new areas of cooperation—including engineering design and Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC)—to achieve mutual complementarity and synergistic development.
According to the announcement, the agreement shall take effect from the date of signing by both parties and remain valid for a period of three years; it may be extended or terminated upon mutual agreement between the parties.
BOMESC stated that the signing of this long-term cooperation framework agreement represents a significant step in the strategic collaboration between the company and SBM Offshore Group within the FPSO sector, leveraging their respective strengths in technology, resources, and market positioning. The advancement of this partnership will facilitate the exploration of cooperative models characterized by resource sharing and mutual complementarity, thereby enhancing the comprehensive competitiveness of both parties in the offshore engineering equipment market.
