China Merchants Jinling Shipyard (Nanjing) Delivers First SA7400 Dual-Fuel PCTC “Ocean Legacy” to Sallaum Lines

Recently, China Merchants Jinling Shipyard (Nanjing) officially held the naming and delivery ceremony for the first SA7400 dual-fuel PCTC, named “Ocean Legacy,” which was built for Sallaum Lines.

Sallaum Lines Chairman Sami Sallaum, Sallaum Lines General Manager Hassan Sallaum, China Merchants Shipbuilding Deputy General Manager and Jinling Shipyard Chairman Zheng Hehui, and Jinling Shipyard General Manager Jiang Jiazhong attended the event. Jiang Jiazhong and Sami Sallaum jointly signed the delivery documents.

This series of PCTCs measures 199.9 meters in length, 37.70 meters in width, and 10.20 meters in draft, providing 7,400 standard car spaces. Featuring a groundbreaking dual-fuel LNG design developed by Finland’s Deltamarin, the vessels comprise 13 car decks to facilitate efficient cargo handling and maximize operational efficiency.

Additionally, this PCTC incorporates innovative environmental features to meet the International Maritime Organization’s Tier 3 requirements, featuring state-of-the-art “clean” labeling and shore power capability to reduce its carbon footprint during port calls.
